There are natural ingredients that work well in the management of urinary tract infection (UTI) such as cranberries and D-mannose. Cranberries contain proanthocyanidins -antioxidant “flavonoids” particularly the A-type, which is the only recognized compound that prevents bacteria adhesion in the urinary tract. While for D-mannose, it is a naturally occurring sugar that is found in fruits such as apples, blueberries and cranberries. Both ingredients help to prevent bacteria from sticking to the walls of the urinary tract, reducing the likelihood of infection.
